Copyright and Distribution
The term "SHU Thinklets" applies to all Java applets
and programs referred to in this collection, including the text and layout
of the pages containing the applets. The rights to all SHU Thinklets rests exclusively with the individual authors and the Department
of Mathematics and Computer Science at Seton
Hall University, with the exception of the Pythagoras
mathlet and the Surface applet. Netscape Communicator and the Java Runtime
Environment are covered by their own copyright agreements as described
when you install the respective programs.
SHU Thinklets may be freely used for any non-commercial purpose. You may use
them privately or in the course of your work; there is no fee, and no registration is required.
You may distribute them to anyone, and you may place it on any archive or bulletin board system. You may not charge anyone for
them other than a reasonable fee to cover your distribution costs.
You should distribute SHU Thinklets in the form as supplied by the authors; however, you may repackage
them to suit the conventions and needs of an archive or bulletin board system.
The only requirement is that you display this Copyright and
Distribution notice and include a link to the official version of SHU
Thinklets at sciris.shu.edu/thinklets/
SHU Thinklets may not be distributed as part of any commercial product without a prior licence agreement.
SHU Thinklets may be reviewed for any publication, whether in hard copy or electronic form, without the author's prior permission.
