Welcome to SHU Thinklets: This site is dedicated to Thinklets, small programs to help students with concepts in mathematics, computer science, and other science and non-science related areas. (*)

General: A project called asset to create and maintain surveys is available to try out and for download. Other general software include SyncStream, ChatterBox, and more.

bullet Biology: General topics in Biology, such as an applet illustrating population dynamics.
bullet CompSci: Covers topics in Computer Science such as Sorting, Binary Search Trees, Recursion, Fast Fourier Transform, and more.
bulletLanguages: Online language glossary for western-style and Asian languages now available for download.
bulletMathematics: Covers everything from basic math (logic, graphs, trig) and calculus (continuity, differentiation, integration) to non-Euclidian geometry and more. Several applets on Statistics have been added.

Definition
A Thinklet is a small program that runs inside a web browser and helps visualize concepts in math, computer science, or other academic areas.

(*) Originally we were creating software for Math and CS only. At that time the project as called "Mathlets". We have since expanded to other fields and the term "Mathlets" has been changed to "Thinklets".
